Brisbane in Winter

We went to the races on Saturday on a ferry. It was a beautiful day , cold in the morning but warmed up in the middle of the day. This is a view of The Storey Bridge from the back of the ferry.

This is a picture of Eagle Farm race track. Very much like a country race track.

This is Chris in our apartment. We really liked our apartment it was light and airy and had lovely views over the city.

Our apartment block is the tall building in the distance on the left. This photo was taken from South Bank.

It was so cold in Brisbane they had to knit jackets and scarfs for the statues and trees !

We went for a walk from Georges Heights to Clifton Gardens. The building in the background is Ripples , Chowder Bay where Jo's friend had her reception.
